DESCRIPTION:Next up Solids! What an exciting\, fun\, messy time for you and your baby. Learn how to safely introduce food and prevent and treat choking. \nNext up Solids! What an exciting\, fun\, messy time for you and your baby. Our poplar Intro to Solids class is back! \nThis 1.5 hour workshop goes over current recommendations for introducing solids\, tips and tricks\, how to know baby is ready for solids\, information on what to introduce when\, how much to feed\, baby led weaning\, safety tips\, information on allergens and how to respond and the action to take if baby is choking. This workshop will be offered live online where you will be able to ask questions! \nThis workshop is taught by an experienced Registered Nurse and Board Certified Lactation Consultant who is also a Certified First Aid and CPR instructor. \nWe recommend taking this course when your baby is between 3-7 months old so you are prepared for introduction of solids which is recommended around 6 months when baby is showing signs of readiness! \nEvent tickets available on Eventbrite

DESCRIPTION:Interactive workshop learning about baby/child CPR\, Choking Rescue and common First Aid treatments. \nThis workshop can help you feel confident about knowing how to treat and prevent that first bump when baby begins exploring\, how to react the first time they gag on food and how to keep them safe as they continue to explore and grow. \nThe workshop is approximately 2 hours long\, and includes up-to-date information on baby/child CPR\, choking\, and common first aid emergencies. The workshop is child-friendly and includes hands-on practice on responsive mannequins. \nOne ticket per participant.
