DESCRIPTION:Learning about common first aid emergencies and how to prevent and treat them in your children is an essential skill for parents. In a Babies First CPR and Safety Workshop you will learn CPR\, Choking treatment\, and emergencies like: a bleeding cut\, how to know if a child needs stitches\, broken bones\, breathing emergencies\, handling fevers and much more. \nBabies First CPR workshops are approximately 2 hours long and include practice with life like manikins\, videos\, hands on practice and an informative handout to take home with you. \nThe CPR workshop is taught by a certified CPR instructor/Registered Nurse with 20 years of experience. \nGain the confidence to handle any emergency situation with your baby or child\, Register today! \n1 ticker per person or 1 couple ticket for 2 people.  Pre-registration required. \nThis is a workshop\, not a certification class.

SUMMARY:Introducing Solids to your Baby Workshop July
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nNext up Solids!  What an exciting\, messy time for you and your baby.  Our poplar Intro to Solids class is back! \nThis 1.5 hour workshop goes over current recommendations for introducing solids\, tips and tricks\, how to know baby is ready for solids\, information on what to introduce when\, how much to feed\, baby led weaning\, safety tips\, information on allergens and how to respond and the action to take if baby is choking.  This workshop will be offered live online where you will be able to ask questions! \nThis workshop is taught by an experienced Registered Nurse and Board Certified Lactation Consultant who is also a Certified First Aid and CPR instructor. \nWe recommend taking this course when your baby is between 3-7 months old so you are prepared for introduction of solids which is recommended around 6 months when baby is showing signs of readiness!
